ive tried onkyo i found their sound equivilant to sony's, at least when it worked had to return the damn thing 3 times, they finally gave me a new one which my buddy bought since he has a hard on for onkyo, he too loved the sound of my bose got his own set, and theres no sound difference

Just following the crowd, ummm no, but apparently the crowd knows good from bad, maybe you should listen to them and learn a little more about what you are buying yourself. I mean, when almost everyone is saying they arent good for many reasons and you still dont listen.... Well hey, ignorance is bliss I assume. Do me a favor, please tell me what the specs are on your speakers for frequency range?
