It will come out of your future taxes, so I won't even bother with it.

Or I will stick it in a cd or savings account. F*** YOU BUSH!!
You might as well curse the Congress too.

I believe if you make less than 125,000 you get $600. Married couples get $1200 and I think maybe a little more if you have kids.

I think many people here agree, including myself, this government refund deal is the last thing we need when this year's deficit is going to be double last years, but I suppose I'll at least do right with it and find some American goods to buy. It's kind of hard when everything I like comes from China and Japan, though.

You have to file your taxes this year in order for you to get that extra refund. I heard that we might get our cash dollars sometime in early May.

Actually the government classifies you as rich if you make over 75k, or 150 combined if married. So if you make more then 75k a year, sorry but the government thinks you deserve nothing and your money should go to the welfare rejects who cant lift a finger to help themselves except for banging like rabbits to increase their welfare check.

This is the same thing bush did i believe the summer after 9/11, your tax man will have nothing to do with this as my guess you will see it sometime this summer when the irs gets around to sending them out. I could be wrong but this is the way im expecting it to get distributed, i would not count on seeing it anytime soon.

No....that isn't right at all.

If don't pay taxes but earn at least 3k (unemployment, welfare, etc) you get $300. If you make between 3k and 75k, you get $600. Married couples get $1,200 if they earn below 150k combined. If you make over 75k single or 150k married, you get a lowered amount. (5% per 1k over 75k/150k). If you have kids, you get $300 per kid. That decrease applies even if you have kids, so if you make over 200k together and still have 4 kids you'll get nothing since the 5% per 1k exceeds the total amount of the rebate.

They're basing this off of the 2007 return you file. Don't file a return, you get nothing until you do. If you've already filed, you've done everything you need to do.

And this money is in addition to any refund you might be getting, or additional taxes you might have to pay.

As for the original question, we'll probably buy at least a few blu's, but most will go towards debt or pre-paying certain expenses.

btw we havent raised any taxes to pay for these wars... so i would think a deficit would be natural.

Yeah thats it. Sorry if I confused you. I learned a little from my mom. She doesnt do them anymore and she gets angry when someone asks her about taxes. So I tried to get some info from her but she would ignore me and talk about something else.

Of course someone had to bring politics into it. And I assume our Congress has nothing to do with this, either? Everything's the presidents fault, right?
