Why buy something that does not play the most recent audio technology? Maybe a couple years ago, but right now? Why even reccomend it? If nothing else get Bose speakers and a better receiver for gods sake.

Maybe he doesn't want to settle for mediocrity . . . Wasn't there a whole format war about that?

Bose is trash for the price range it's in. Regular DTS sounded good about 11 years ago. Maybe we need to make a kiddie area for posts like this?

LOL I haven't owned any because I know better. Go find me a professional, or audiophile grade system that uses ANY Bose products.

I know the definition of the word mediocrity . . . obviously you do not. I'm not talking shit . . . I'm talking fact, and you're acting like a child. Just because you're willing to settle for 10 year old audio technology doesn't mean everybody else is.

I just thought of something . . . we can post factual, proven arguments.

We CAN'T insult individuals.

But at what point does someone's idiocy actually BECOME fact

guys, lets not turn this into a BOSE bashing event.

Do your best to inform the OP of BOSE economics...but no need to offend anyone in the process.

If you are adamant about getting Bose, then just get their speakers and forget the Lifestyle System. You're better off spending your money on a good HDMI 1.3 receiver.
