The version at the link below is the same one done by Jock but the villains are added at the bottom and this version is limited to 350 but won't be made for sale, its a free giveaway and only 250 will be given out (I assume the other 100 are being used for something else, going to the artist, etc). I actually like this version better.

I'm following the mondo twitter updates. I hope they have extras. But eight now they're limiting the print to 1 per person :/ people are in line and don't even know what they're in line for... They just heard some sort of batman poster was on sale.. Lol

I'm trying too. The batman rises they only offered the regular print. The only thing I haven't gotten is adventure time which I believe they already have out. Although I heard they will release a few more later this week.

That is a good question. I "think" it was an international advance, but at the same time, I don't believe anyone out there has it. One of my contacts said he had a style available that said "Coming Soon" at the bottom (the domestic styles didn't say that) and that he couldn't find an image of it online so this "could" be it. Once I know for sure, I will post here.

I don't know, but if I was someone famous and I was there signing, I would stay until everyone got a signature, but that's just me. It's staggering to think if someone was to go to SDCC just to get all the Mondo prints and flip them, it could probably pay for the entire trip and then some.

I think they said they are doing 15 prints total for SDCC and that number includes variants. Today alone I believe they have done 4 (Moss standard, Moss variant, Jock Batman, and another artist doing Game of Thrones) so my guess is they will release four Thursday-Saturday, and three on Sunday. They also said something about a random print going on sale during some radio show or something, not really sure.

Also, conceptual artist Syd Mead who is unbelievably talented will be signing a limited edition print of the USS Sulaco from Aliens Friday between 3pm and 6pm at the Sega booth (#2615). There is also a free Aliens comic book that will be given away that I believe ties into the upcoming/long-delayed video game Aliens. I am not sure if the print is free or if there is a charge for it.

That's true now you need to get that other version that is limited to 350 (but only 250 will be given out) that has the villains at the bottom. Unsure exactly where a person has to go to get it though.

Thought I would post some images of what "The Dark Knight Rises" bus shelter posters look like in-person over the stock images that were released. These things are unbelievably gorgeous in-person. They are matte-finished, thick coated paper (much thicker than standard movie posters) and are deep black, but the detail is incredible. They are double-sided, 4 feet wide x 6 feet tall. These are the official authentic ones, and the studio did a great job on them.

To give them some scale, I placed them each on my queen-sized bed in my guest room, and I had to stand on a step stool to try and get the entire poster to fit in the photograph. There is a window to the right and light was coming in, but I had to use the camera flash on the Bane one and then I was losing light and it made the Catwoman look lighter than it is. All three though in person are a deep black and the white highlights really stand out.

There are people who have them on eBay and what was interesting is I have friends who live all over the place and they have seen the bus shelter posters up one night when they are driving home from work, and then said the next morning they are gone. It would not surprise me if people were somehow gaining access to the bus stop frames or know someone who can, or worse yet, breaking into them to get the posters and then up on eBay they go. I have noticed the majority of the ones on eBay are damaged or have holes in them, etc. It also would not surprise me if reprints start appearing due to the rarity of getting the original ones so buyers be careful.

Some people in line said they were going to release it at a special screening of the dark knight.. But I can't tell you if that's a reliable source.

Yeah they really look better in-person, now I am working on packaging up those sets that have sold so they can be on their way to their new homes.
