Make sure you save some AP's for the artist to sell afterwards so some of us out of towners have a chance at getting one.
Will do! I will hopefully have some left after the event that I could hook people up with...

There was a time when going to a movie was safe, good lord what is this world coming to? I think I speak for everyone on this site when I say "Condolences to the victims families" during this very difficult time.

This is what I woke up to this morning. Sad story. There has been a rash of gun violence in my area recently that we aren't quite accustomed to (Not that anyone is accustomed to violence). It has been a pretty tragic summer between the guns and drownings, not a whole lot of good news to print.

Apparently the same woman who survived that shooting in Toronto last week was killed in the theater in Colorado last night! Unreal.

Super sad events this morning. I hope people can press through and go out and enjoy DKR. Saw the movie this afternoon and loved it. Great endcap to the series. I'm proud to have the advanced style A on my wall and can't wait to get the Olly Moss print!

You can try Aaron Brothers Framing but more than likely you may need to have it custom framed.

Thanks. Ill check. I hate custom framing cause they always cost way more then a regular frame.

Not movie poster-related, but since Batman is quite popular, I came across this buried on the WBShop website. Signed and numbered of 200 by Jim Lee, if you use promo code DEALS10 in all capitals you get $10 off your order. Plus the majority of the proceeds go to a worthy charity too.

Going back to the discussion of The Amazing Spider-Man posters, I did confirm that Sony did make an International "Final" style which was the same artwork as the advance style "B" but added the credits to it and "Coming Soon" at the bottom. I also believe Sony at the last minute out put a domestic final style with the same artwork as well and credits too with the release date at the bottom. I decided to pass on this International final style and only stock the domestic advance style "B" instead and the domestic final wasn't offered to me.

quick question about the Olly Moss DKR print, the size is 16x24, is the art that size with a white border round it? or is that the size including a border?

I don't believe it will have a border.

The size should be the total print, I don't believe there is a border, I dont know of any Mondo prints that have had one.

I think it depends on what you are defining as the 'boarder' as most screen prints I've seen don't run edge to edge on the paper. So there is us usually 'white space' around the entire print. Now it may not be white, but rather the colour of the paper, but I could see calling that space a boarder. If you look at the 3 prints I've got on my wall, all three do have a white area past the screen printing and if I were to guess Moss' Dark Knight will as well.

I watched a video of Justin being interviewed at Comicon and they had the print with them... I just don't recall if it was there... I'm 99% certain it was though. I believe it to be part of the nature of screen printing, needing the unprinted area for alignment perhaps.

Well I happened to see the post the other night about the Dark Knight Rises Mondo poster and pulled the trigger and after reading countless pages on this thread (which has been very informative) and looking at many original movie poster for countless different movies on movieposters.com it seems as a may have caught the bug for collecting movie posters. I am going to try to not go over board mainly because of space limitations, but there are a few ones that I want to pick up.

Welcome to the thread, yeah there are a lot of pages for new members to go back and read if they so desire, some have told me it has been worth going back and reading them too so there must be some value to the posts! LOL! Best time to buy an original movie poster is when it first gets out there, those poster dealers who are able to get them will generally have them in stock and have fairly competitive prices, but then as the stock gets lower, the prices get higher, and a really popular film such as DKR, can cause prices to climb quite high quite fast.
