This shows off the blue-ish tint to it


In different lighting though it looks as black as the pic of it online, so what do I know?

I do wish they would do more timed releases, but just limit them to an hour or so.

Yeah, to be honest, I don't know why I try... a lot of resellers set up programs to refresh Mondo's site and get them almost instantly (a known problem). Aside from that, demand is just so high that it's damn near impossible to score one regardless.

I know some people have scored several, and I've tried every trick in the book and haven't succeeded. I'm not one of those people that try on every release either, only the ones that I would want to hang on my wall.

I ordered mine 3 minutes after they went on sale, and got mine very quickly, but already re-sold it. I didn't care for it in-person, not knocking Moss, but the coloring didn't do it for me.

It isn't just resellers, but also collectors. Remember the Mondo prints have been around for a while and there are some die-hard collectors who used to be able to get basically any print they wanted without having to compete with 20,000 other fans. Three years ago a person could call up Mondo and place their order, it was that simple, but since Mondo marketed the hell out of themselves, thanks for every website under the sun mentioning them, they now have thousands upon thousands of people vying for a limited amount, and those who were on board with Mondo from the very beginning in some ways you have to feel sorry for them to a certain degree too.

It really isn't that difficult to learn some of the tricks on how to at least improve your odds of getting a Mondo print that you want. I am sure someone out there on the net has typed up a guide to get a Mondo print. One thing I tell people is never pay with Paypal, by the time the Mondo site redirects you there to pay, the print would already be sold out.

I know, and I completely agree... but that's what I said in regards to the high demand.

And secondly, I've tried all the tricks to date on the prints I've wanted and haven't been successful. Trust me, I was late to the Mondo game, wasn't introduced to them until last year.

This is why I made my own event... I can pick the movies, I can represent me hometown, and hopefully, I can add something to the collector's wishlist one day.

Looks good! Mine is growing on me. Did you get yours framed at hobby lobby? I'm going to hit up a local place first but I'm pretty sure they are going to be outrageous.

That's just a 20 dollar frame I linked to above from Amazon, I took out one of my newspaper prints and put the TDKR in there temporarily to see how it looked. Looks alright although I think I'll order a different style for it eventually.

I don't know if that's an intended effect or not but it doesn't really come across looking that great.



I have 10 of these that I used to frame newspaper prints, perfectly acceptable for 20 bucks shipped. I think they have a ton of different colors and whatnot and they came packed amazingly well (probably MORE than they had to considering it's just plastic UV in there and not glass). I'll frame it up in a couple minutes and post some pics so you guys can see

That actually looks pretty sweet framed. I can't wait to get mine framed, I think I'll try to get it matted though. I know A lot of people are kinda disapointed with the print but I love it! Plus it's my first Mondo so I kinda feel like it deserves a good frame job.

Dropped my Moss DKR at the local frame shop today. Black frame with a silver/gray matte, and it will be ready in about 3 weeks.

Got my DKR print yesterday and took it out of the tube today. #1382. Going to leave it overnight to unroll a little bit on it's own before I force it and I'll be able to see the quality tomorrow.

BUT, frame has been ordered from amazon and should show up tomorrow. Hard to spend money to keep getting good frames when I keep getting all these prints!! I have like 20 unframed mondo prints and i keep doing the math on how much it will be to frame all of them !!

Bought a frame for my Ansin Dracula reg and am eyeing a beautiful ornate gold accented frame from Hobby Lobby for my Ken Taylor Hellboy 2.

Yes Mondo must have had x amount of them already printed expecting a large demand. I got mine about a week or so after it went on sale, which surprised me.

Is that robocop print still available? I forgot what site it was from. It had a blue color scheme.

EDIT- Theres was also another print that i liked that someone had. I think it was from the walking dead? I don't remember and my post that i quoted is gone from the crash.
