Twilight Zone had a used car episode that seemed to play in full speed like a soap opera, and it didn't seem as professional as the other episodes because of it.

They shot one season on video (season 2, I believe) then went back to film.

If it's anything to go on, the theatrical Hobbit 3D and 2D trailers all seem to resemble classic 24 fps motion.

All the trailers so far are 24fps extractions, created by dropping half the frames per second. For the 24fps version of the feature some motion blur will be added. I don't know if the blur was added to the trailers.
