Maybe we'll actually get the rest of the 'Friday the 13th' films released sooner rather than later now.

Crap, there's so much stuff coming out for the rest of this year. Looks like I should sell my 2/3 combo pack then.

Why would I be shocked that there is no bonus disc? Because it was included in the exact same set in two other regions and the only reason people suspect it's not included is because of an Amazon disc count listing. When has WB removed bonus features between regions? The only reason to remove it would be if there were some U.S. legal issues with Freddy's Nightmares.

Like many here, already own NOES1 & NOES2/3. I paid $10 for both after BB T&S so didn't wasted too much money. I have waited for a while for the boxset and will probably get it for a good price. Really hope they keep the bonus disc. Regardless, will still buy it :-D Can't wait!

Like already mentioned, Warner owns the rights to the Freddy's Nightmares tv series, and some episodes were on that dvd bonus disc. This is the main reason many believe this set was not released in the States to begin with. You are not very likely to aee that disc included in this set. The only thing that will be shocking is if it IS included.

Why? This is a completely different studio, and an entirely unrelated release. The holdups on the remaining F13 films have nothing to do with NOES...

The Japanese set DOES NOT include the bonus disc. 4 discs there as well.

Why can't warner put out Freddy's nightmares episodes in the US?

Have wanted this for sometime now. Amazon has pre-order at $41.99. That's a great price point for this set. If it holds at that we may be able to grab it somewhere between $34.99 to $39.99 during release week at BB. Well, that's what I'm hoping for anyway.

No bonus disc and all 6 sequels shoved on three discs? Ya, pass. My DVD boxset from over ten years ago is still more than sufficent.

Disappointing. Obviously, the bonus disc is an issue, but what about commentaries or the 3D finale on Freddy's Dead? This is getting a big fat pass from me.

Yea, yea, yea I know all of that. Just saying if this sells well, maybe Paramount will release them. Maybe not. Just making a comment.

The overseas releases have all the previous features for the films so these should have them, too.

Well you had unreasonable expectations. Nobody should have expected the discs to be different than the overseas releases, where each film excluding the first shared a disc with another entry. They look great for what it is worth... we are talking about 3 hours, maybe 3 and a half hours on a disc for both movies combined. Easily doable, has been done, and the results are fantastic.

Yeah, the current NoES 2 and 3 Double Feature Blu-Ray is fantastic.

While individual discs would be nice, the bit rate and image quality on the DF isn't diminished by it.

Honestly I'm just happy to have them all on blu-ray. Something a lot of franchises from the 80s can only dream about at this point...
