I'm pretty sure Kinsella doesn't sell a whole lot of them anymore as he has commented in the past that its just too much to try and inventory all the domestic US releases, never mind trying to track down all the international ones as well, but maybe he can shed some insight into how rare they may be.
Thanks! Was a bit curious about that. I sort of wonder if it was that most people are not interested in them or if they are just plain rare compared to North American or European posters. One poster I would really like to have and the reason I asked would be a Seven Samurai all in Japanese. Of course it would be a replica since I doubt I could afford a original

framed up my Mondo Near Dark poster. Cheap barnwood frame from Hobby Lobby and got a piece of UV glass from Michaels. Found the skulls at HL and decided to splash some blood on 'em then attach. All in fun.

Just an FYI - since Hobby Lobby increased prices on glass the prices were about the same after the Michaels 50% off. Just something to think about if HL is a long drive for you (2 hour round for me).

Both of them are so-so to me, though I need to get one of those Looney Tunes posters to go with the rest of my collection

I didn't see it in their gallery, which probably answers my question, but did they ever come out with a The Walking Dead poster?

Quick question... How can you tell if a 27 x 40 Movie Poster is an actual Poster that the Movie Theaters used apposed to the reprints they sell on Ebay and other places..... Is it called Mylar ? Are they more expensive than regular posters ? Thanks

The Jurassic Park Poster is a very nice looking poster, but it just doesn't seem to fit the film IMO. I think the one that Ken Taylor (I believe it was him) did is better overall.

The Variants were gone instantly. The colors in the Variant really go well with the Duck, Rabbit, Duck print which made me decide to take a crack at it

Depends what you mean by "come out with".... I got a few season 1 posters from my job in the cable industry (the original season 1 Rick on a horse artwork). They were not 27x40, but a slightly smaller 24x36 (maybe a little bigger), single sided.

Edit: oh wait, did you mean Mondo?

The two other Jurassic Park prints in their archive are done by:

JC Richard

and

If you do mean a Mondo Walking Dead print, no, none by Mondo, but 20 Eyes did a set of 3:

http://www.20eyesco.com/store

And Drew Struzan did one still available through AMC:

http://www.amazon.com/Limited--Autog...mc+autographed

Then the ony other one I know of is from Taco Belvedere

http://www.tacobelvedere.com/2012/04...re-wip_16.html

A quick check on expressobeans also shows Daniel Danger did one:

http://expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/132652

And a couple of others if you search expressobeans.com.

This is getting harder and harder to tell. Double sided is always a good first indication that it may be legit but Kinsella keeps reminding us that the forgers do make them double sided now too. The latest releases do seem to have a lighter backside to them, so that helps indicate that it could be legit too. I've found the weight of the paper to be heavier and the overall quality of the paper to better on legit posters, but to be honest I didn't buy too many copies before I got into authentic posters.

I think buying from reputable dealers helps too, like Kinsella here on the forums or movieposter.com. movieposter.com DOES sell reprints, but I have found that they do call that out in their descriptions of the poster. So you know what you're buying.
