Isn't the EPK the same one included on the R2 DVD?

I just rented the Burning last weekend and decided to get the DVD...even if it goes Blu I will hold on to the DVD until the HD release is close. I really enjoyed this movie despite is being a Friday the 13th Clone. No matter, the gore was cool, the story was good for this type of film
I rented that and the Nest and both of them are easily keepers for those of us who are into genre titles

I just love Rick Wakeman's score.

Let's not get carried away, guys. I like it, don't get me wrong, but the first half is a little too much Meatballs and not enough Friday the 13th for my liking. And the ending, WTF happened to the ending. It's like the director/editor was fired and a couple of chimps edited the ending instead...

^
It also has the most unlikable collection of characters I've seen in a slasher film this side of Slaughter High.

The Burning has unlikeable but realistic characters with natural human reactions.

Interview with Scream Factory (Cliff)

http://www.fearnet.com/news/intervie...scream-factory

Best part:

Quote:
There is a box set for next Halloween, and I'm hoping to do some deluxe packaging for that, should be cool.
Corman/Poe movies?

Another cool piece:

How many releases a year should we expect?

2 - 3 a month starting in Feb. Around Halloween we may do a few more to keep the horror fans happy.

Actually, I authored my own DVD with the extras, and some stuff I pulled off youtube and stuck that custom DVD in the BD case.

I'm willing to bet that the box set Cliff is talking about is going to be the complete "Phantasm" series. It definitely makes sense since we were told not to expect news on "Phantasm II" for a long time and with Coscarelli's strong involvement, I'm sure deals are firmly in place to bring the rest of the films to Scream Factory. If this proves true then it'll make for a hell of a Halloween time treat!
