Oooh! I hadn't heard of the 2005 2-disc collector's edition. I guess your Shwartz is bigger than my Shwartz!!!

Sorry to say, but this one will take a relatively long time. When DVD's became popular, Spaceballs on VHS was $4.99. Now it's $4.99 on DVD. right now, the studios are releasing the money titles from their catalog to lure new customers to blu. Unfortunately, Spaceballs doesn't command a $25 price right now, unless they pull some serious bonus features out of their...umm...spacehole
Spaceballs is an evergreen title. The bigger question is how good that new HD master they ran a few years back looks, and whether they need to send it out for a scrub. Answer is almost certainly yes. It's been double if not triple dipped on DVD

I would love Spaceballs along with Men in Tights, Young Frankenstein and whatever other Mel Brooks movies are out there. Only other title off the top of my head that is his is Dracula Dead and Loving It. Different studios have control of different titles though so there can't really be a collection.

Another title I would love that isn't Mel Brooks is On Golden Pond with Katherine Hepburn and Henry Fonda. I grew up spending my summers on the lake it was filmed at. I used to hang around the docks of the small marina that was in one of the parts of the movie.

Most of his movies are done by Fox BTW !

Blazing Saddles is on Blu-ray so I don't see why not. I want all of Mel Brooks' movies on Blu-Ray, and all of Monty Python.

Blazing Saddles was done through Warner Bros. (which I have and love) and the other ones were by Fox.

God I hated that crappy On Golden Pond. When Superchannel first came out here it seemed like it was the only movie they had to play. Space Balls I want you and bring it to me in Ludicrous Speed.

I remember that. In the early 80s most of the movies on cable were long, drawn out dramas.
