Are these commentaries done for free? Maybe there was a financial disagreement or something

I doubt it. But I am sure it varies with each person or situation. $ would be the most likely issue though.

That has nothing to do with it. He just didn't feel he had enough to say about the film. I don't think he wanted to revisit his past. He was on and off for months about doing it.

The slipcovers come with the releases no matter where you buy them from. Well, they are supposed to anyway.

Cliff, do you know when those who pre-ordered this and Funhouse directly from Shout can expect their copies to ship?

I think that happens a lot. In fact I respect the directors wishes of not doing it ESP if he felt like he didn't have enough to say etc Maybe a introduction or small interview reflecting on the film would have been enough.

I've listened to many commentaries that just came across as telling what is happening on the screen itself... And we all know those can be boring.

It is nice that Shout tries for these type of bonus features nonetheless.

I can't wait to pick this BD up, I actually haven't ever seen the movie. There are so few vintage horror movies left of any caliber I haven't seen, that it will be a surprise to me.

I haven't seen it either, but I enjoy anything with Jamie Lee Curtis in it.

+1

Halloween, The Fog, Prom Night, Trading Places, A Fish Called Wanda, True Lies and many more! They don't call her the Scream Queen for nothing! Hell, I even enjoyed Virus just because she's in it.

I picked mine up at the local video store for $15, haven't watched it yet but i'm looking forward to it.

I passed on Funhouse, now I'm regretting it, I went back but the only copy was already sold. I had never heard of it before...
