I was just looking at the schedule and was surprised Game 1 of the LDS is Washington @ St. Louis. Then I realized they changed the format this season from 2-2-1 to 2-3. Another really stupid move IMO. Homefield advantage shouldn't mean playing the first two games on the road.

I have a funny feeling Detroit beats Oakland in that LDS matchup.

Told ya so. Billy Beane's A's teams will be what, like 1-5 in LDS series all-time assuming they don't win 3 straight here? Those A's teams always go on a tar late in the season and flop big in the playoffs.
