I'm surprised A Rod is still batting third tonight. I listen to a lot of sports talk radio and every MLB "expert" thought it was a certainty that A Rod was going to get moved down in the lineup.

Well I was just listening to Chris Russo and John Flaherty of YES was on and he said that moving him down would be unwise. I don't see why they would move him down. If anything, they should move Tex up and bring Swisher down (he has been horrendous for months now) and I wouldn't DH Nunez over Ibanez.

I'm interested to see what kind of contract Swisher is going to get after the season. He's a pretty good regular season player but absolutely terrible in the postseason, as he's 1-for-33 with runners in scoring position and a .160 batting average in the postseason. Swisher is rumored to be looking for a deal similar to Jayson Werth's seven-year, $126 million deal, but he's not going to get anywhere near that. Most estimates I've read is a three or four year deal at $15 million per year.

He can leave and take Granderson with him. I'd let them both leave and sign Hamilton to a 4 year 100 million dollar contract with a team option for a fifth.

Zito is the man..he has the power to screw up the hitter's motion...set stage for players to adjust their timing.... The pitching changes are messing them up
