I think the days of flipping Mondo prints is slowly coming to a close. With the numbers of the print runs increasing, the costs rising, and the eBay and Paypal fees, there isn't much in the way of profits so if you are only buying a print just to resell it, especially from these releases, you may want to check eBay before the prints go on sale (if they are prints which were previously offered at a convention, etc) and check the completed auctions. Factor in the 10% eBay takes off the top and then Paypal's fee, and you may find that buying a print to resell it may not be worth your time. For some it is, but for the majority its not and if a print is still available minutes after it goes on sale, that kind of tells you right there that its not as popular as others.

Well the tweet shows at 11:12, but I was already done my first order checkout by 11:10 if not earlier. I was on the ball this morning, must've been all that coffee

I do believe I heard my audible ping go off at 10:10am when I was downstairs having breakfast. I think the tweets go after they go up for sale, I don't personally rely on the tweets.

Yeah I got an email from Mondo with my second order # at 11:12, seconds before the tweet even went out. So basically I was done purchasing everything I wanted before the tweet even went live?! That might be a first for me

Agreed, unless it is a Stout, Moss or Struzan I think the margins a flipper is making are going down. I'm fine with that. I still haven't sold anything I've bought and hope to keep it that way

I got this one as well, the yellow one, from the Mondo site. I had my twitter page up which alerted me right when they went on sale and I got it. Very happy.

The Universal Monsters show from Mondo was tonight down in Austin Texas. They had a Martin Ansin Frankenstein with reported runs of 450 reg and variant 235. I'm hoping the Frankenstein makes it online with the higher runs so I can pair it with my Dracuala and Mummy. Here are pics from the show if anyone is interested...

My guess is they will announce any extras for an sale date next week sometime. Anything Ansin does sells out in seconds, I still regret selling the Phantom of the Opera metallic variants I had since only 25 were made.

Either they must not use very thick tubes or the carrier decided to run over it a few times just for you. I learned many years ago if you can squeeze a tube and leave a good size impression in it, then chances are the tube will get crushed along the way therefore damaging the contents. Hopefully they make it right for you.

Thanks for the link... I love the creature. I assume the blue is the variant... I prefer the other one.

I have a HUGE 4-piece poster of Seven Psychopaths coming in. It's 4 by 6 feet.

I think Kevin Tong's Bride of Frankenstein is the best of the bunch... my buddy down in Austin might be going today or tomorrow to see what he can pick up for me.

Yeah that's the variant and it also glows but from what I hear it has a pretty low run so I doubt it makes it online. The gallery is open back up on Tuesday for anyone who lives in the area and wants to pick them up.

I thought the glow layer was a nice touch. 5 color silkscreen, can't wait until it's printed on the 28th so I can get it in my greedy hands and head to the framers A.S.A.P. !!!

For those whose free Avengers posters showed up damaged, did anybody have luck getting them replaced?

Are people reporting their posters arrived damaged? Again, no surprise if they do, those companies that ship them out don't care about proper packaging. It's really shameful that they don't.

Not that I'm devastated, but mine has a little edge wear. No big deal as I'm probably just going to frame it in a cheap-o stock frame and you won't even see the edge.
