Jodi Sally: A Lifetime Original Movie.
Jodi Sally: A Lifetime Original Movie tells the story of an amazing woman, who overcame all the odds, to become the queen of FAIL TECH. She grew up in the projects of Chicago. Her parents did well, however, they didn't manage their money well. They used 90% of their income for things like Betamax, MiniDisc, CED, and DIVX. This pushed Jodi into becoming the very best manager she could be. She studied night and day and eventually rose to the top of Toshiba Corp. There she became the queen of FAIL TECH, solidified by her passionate CES 2008 speech. She was raped too, but that didn't happen in real life, we just had to throw it in because it was a Lifetime Original. Spoiler: Krazy Ken Kutargi did it with his Boomerang PS3 controller. |

No I wasn't. For this thread I think it is best not to say anything more than mentioning the title IMO. If the mods decide that even doing so isn't proper and delete the posts then I can understand that too.

I agree too.
The Passion of the Christ Schindler's List Saving Private Ryan Braveheart Rocky or maybe Return of the King And for personal reasons maybe, but Big Fish really affected me. My dad never told really outrageous tales the way Albert Finney told his son(Billy Crudup)in that movie, but I identified with the son and by the end of the movie found myself admiring his dad a lot. When we're growing up, especially in our teen and early 20s, we usually roll our eyes at everything our dads tell us. And get annoyed at how they often embarrass us. But as we get older, we begin to realize the old man knew a bit more and was/is more worthy(hopefully)of respect then we earlier gave them credit for. But my dad and I became very close in his last few months of life, especially his final few days. So the end of Big Fish affected me as I watched it and I couldn't help getting choked up. Much the same way Brian's Song affected people. But in that movie, James Caan was Carl Weather's(?) teammate, not father, so I identify more with Crudup and bonded with both of them during that movie. I still think about my dad often. I bought & watched the Blu-Ray last year, and enjoyed it again, with a bit of moisture in my eyes once again. Another movie that involves a child's relationship with not only a father, but grandfather also is Whale Rider. That hasn't been released on BD yet, but I bought the DVD when it became available after seeing it on the big screen. A nice, feel good movie like Big Fish well worth watching. |
