Seriously who the f**k comes up with these dumb show ideas? Who the hell wants to see celebs go diving? And I'm assuming when they mean "celebrities" they mean d list actors who can't get any real work. FU ABC!
I know this is a month old, but I just read about it last week. Reality shows are cheap, plus people love them for some stupid reason. If they do cancel this, it would be fitting since I just recently got into it when I bought the first two seasons bundle from Best Buy when that came out last year.

I know the ratings for this and Don't Trust the B are probably not very good, but name me another sitcom on ABC that is any good that does even remotely decent outside of Last Man Standing.

The Middle, Modern Family, and Suburgatory all do at least double what Happy Endings did on Sunday, and Modern Family has won the Outstanding Comedy Series Emmy for all 3 of it's prior seasons. It also hurts Happy Endings and Don't Trust the B that they aren't produced by ABC so there's no financial incentive for ABC to keep the shows going until they have enough episodes for syndication because they won't be making any syndication money.

So I was flipping through my Best of 2012 issue of Entertainment Weekly and they did a double spread asking the actors to describe how they came up with their characters personalities. Which is why I just don't get the ratings issues. Seems critics love the show, but ABC not so much. Of course this series has been on the "chopping block" since it first came out and was partnered with Cougar Town. This is where I think ABC messed up. Happy Ending was fine on the Wednesday line up. Then they replaced it with Revenge and now that's been replaced with Nashville Granted, I'm down to basic cable and don't get TBS, but maybe this and Don't trust the B belong there with Cougar Town

If both get canceled TBS should pick them up.

I think so, even if it means I don't get to see either of them. Clearly ABC doesn't know what to do with their comedies anymore. I mean it is awesome that the Wednesday night line up is paying off, but c'mon. Stop being so lazy with your more adult comedies. If Shark Tank is pulling in the numbers it shouldn't matter what day it is on. Shift this and Don't Trust the B to Fridays at 9, after Tim and Reba's shows. That, or sandwich them inbetween them.

Sorry, I'm a douche. Not sure how I forgot about those three sitcoms even though I don't watch them.

I could see TBS or another cable network potentially picking up Happy Endings if ABC cancels it because it's fairly close to syndication. It will have 58 episodes after this season so I could see Sony (which produces the show) agreeing to a fairly cheap deal with another network in order to get the episode total into the 80s. Sony has shown in the past that it is willing to license shows cheap to get them into syndication, as they practically gave Fox the last couple seasons of Til Death to get enough episodes for syndication. They were also rumored to have a deal with Comedy Central to take over Community if NBC declined to bring it back for a 4th season.

IF TBS would pick it up. They could just pair it together with Cougar Town again. They showed a new ep of Cougar Town last night, then a repeat of Big Bang Theory.

I really hope the show can continue on in some form, as it's still going strong.

I won't say anything about the ratings, because it seems like the norm for all of the great comedies to have poor ratings, but what I'd like to know is how this show doesn't have the highly dedicated, rabid fanbase that shows like Community and Arrested Development have.

Looks like the show is on Sundays and Tuesdays a week now, seems like they're just trying to air the rest of the stuff.

One of my favorite TV series of all time...I'd hate to see it go
