The only thing I can't stand about Extinction's look is the touch-up digital smoothing/blurring they do to Milla's face on many close-up scenes. It looks awful and is blatently obvious. Throws me out of the movie everytime. She looks like a porcelain doll sometimes! I've been told it was noticeable in the theater. Because of this, I'd definitely give it an overall thumbs down, even ignoring the marginal plot.
