Miggy will be 32 when his current deal expires. There's no way he's getting anywhere near a $300 million deal. At best I could see him getting a deal similar to Pujols' 10-year, $250 million deal, but Miggy will also be a year old than Pujols was when he signed and a team might not want to sign a third baseman to a deal that expires when he's 43.

He's the exact same player.... Here are his numbers for 4.5 years in Miami and 5 years in Detroit

Miami: .313, 138 HR, 523 RBI, 449 R
Detroit: .323, 183 HR. 600 RBI, 512 R

Sure, his numbers are better since he's in his prime, but Miggy has been Miggy since his first full season.

Thank you. This is what makes Cabrera so much better. He's been this good the last 10 years. So yes, he has been the same the same player.

I went to the Toronto@Philadelphia game last night. It was cold and windy, it felt a lot more like being at a football game than baseball. By comparison it's supposed to be almost 60 degrees and sunny today. Typical Pennsylvania March/April weather.

To prepare for the season, I've watched my 3 favorite Braves 9th inning rallies of all time. It's funny how all of them have a crucial error (and 2 of them are hit by the same player....)

Looking at ESPN's predictions, and multiple people have Braves/Tigers WS. I might have to grab a ticket and make a trip to Detroit if that happens
