I think a lot of people feel this way, as good as Blu-ray is it's still hasn't been fully embraced, and to add yet another format namely 4K I think that it will never get out of the hardcore niche market.

This is why when I do get into the 4K/8K arena down the road I plan to get a projector as I already have a 96" screen that I occasionally use with my BenQ MP512ST projector. With that size screen 4K would be fully resolvable at about 7 feet.

I agree, I have seen it myself and it is very noticeable if I go 4k it would most likely be a projector. Everyone is so focused on resolution, but the big thing about 4k that a lot of people miss is the increased colour space this will be immediately noticeable even on a smaller screen, say good bye to banding, the other added benefit is B&W movie will also look better.
