On a side note, as far as hard feelings, why do I have emails from members in here letting me know I'm way over priced and that my site is unimpressive. Is this a taste of the Blu-ray.com community?
I would definitely say that's in bad taste. Emotion gets the best of everyone at times. They thought/think you are a HD DVD troll in neutral format clothing, but that doesn't excuse their actions. We get quite a few trolls here, so some people developed offense as their defense. I'm sure this is just an example of miscommunication at it's best.

We should all just forgive each other and move on. There are plenty of real trolls to attack out there!

For what it's worth...welcome to Blu-ray.com!

Yep, I agree with ascended, plus the website has like 10 graphs which stretches to about 4 months each if you go there and check it out. Basically it has statistics from amazon which affirms in every way of blu-ray's success.

Just to inform you btw hdaddicts, the section where you posted your site, we've recently been getting movies for $15 US and under (amazon 50% off, and warner bros 40% off), so when we go to your site and see prices equivalent to US best buy's prices, we freak out. Basically, as a rule in the deals section, if it's not cheaper than amazon.com, its not a deal.

I think HDAddict said that the prices are in Canadian dollar values. That would mean they are less expensive than they may look at first glance (I haven't taken a look yet).

Just took a look at the site. I liked the site layout. The prices seem to be fair. He has better pricing than Best Buy. That's no small feat. The pricing is slightly above Amazon.com which is to be expected for an independent site. I didn't check out the S&H fees, but I am pleasantly surprised. Good luck in your new business!

To the OP:
Go to Amazon and search on this title "Dark Water [Blu-ray]"
You will get two hits even though it is the same title. There may be other duplicate titles but I found this one and wanted to pass it along.

Don't rely on any numbers at productwars.com they are just there for entertainment purposes.

For most part, people here are friendly and provide very constructive comments about blu-ray. As the name of the forum suggests, WE are definitely *biased* towards blu-ray </applause>. Of late, we've experienced some trolls come in under the guise of being neutral. Therefore, there is a healthy skepticism about stats being thrown in our faces - stats that don't reflect our own daily trackings (Amazon thru eproductwars, dvdempire, Nielsen-Videoscan, etc.).

There are a lot of people here who step in and will defend - upto a point -, giving benefit-of-doubt to "neutral" posters. Ascended, TheKnub, Fuad, are good examples - amongst a whole lot of others.

Everybody else:
I think HDAddicts, being a retailer, has to necessarily sit on the fence of this format war. Hopefully, we will be able to convince him - through providing numbers from retail sales, and more directly by depleting his stock of blu-rays - that BD is the way to go!

That's my $0.02.

Rup.
