Well I guess I have no taste in movies because I like Commando, Predator, and Point Break. I will be getting all three. Come on, who doesn't like Die Hard?

Passion Of The Christ and Titanic jump to the top of my list. Also would like the first 2 X Men movies. Some HD releases of 24, M*A*S*H, Family Guy and King of The Hill would be good too.
Of those, only 24 is likely ever to see Blu. KOTH doesn't sell that well on DVD, and most of the show only exists in SD. MASH, while there are HD masters available, is simply too much material to put out again for too small an audience willing to rebuy it. The DVDs upconvert pretty well anyway

Rented the DVD version to check out this movie, if it's as good as they make it out to be in HF then it will be a must purchase for me

I like your list but it's surprising in a couple of ways. One, I expected your list to be much different than that. Two, after seeing your list, I'm a little suprised you didn't like some of the ones you mentioned earlier.

He's never been great in any movie ever, it's just you lower your standards
so much for him that if he's half way decent it seems like he ok.....

Mrs. Doubtfire never stood a chance of being good. Not even out of the gate. For much the same reason as Flubber, Patch Adams, One Hour Photo, Popeye, Good Morning Vietnam and every other film Robin Williams has ever done.

Don't get me wrong, I love Schwarzenegger films for the most part, but the two mentioned were terrible. Rate them with Junior, Batman & Robin and Kindergarten Cop

I even forgot to mention the chief offender of the uber-crap mentioned above and that's the Die Hard series. The only good movie Bruce Willis ever did was Sin City and thankfully he wasn't on screen for much of it and his role wasn't hard to play. I'd love to walk up to him with a wet paper bag and tell him to act his way out of it.
OOPS!! Muppet Alert!!

Heh, I had to look that one up but yeah, that's more like what I expected. A list of movies I had never heard of. I thought you'd list independent films, artsy-type movies, maybe some classics, etc.. Basically, nothing mainstream. Due to your criticism of some of the movies listed, I was guessing you viewed movies as art rather than entertainment. There may be some overlap, but usually, the lists between the two (art vs entertainment) are quite a bit different. So, not knowing your taste in movies, I was just trying to guess. Your list ended up being something more along the lines of what I'd list though so that surprised me.

Default Point Break Blu In July ..yes

In an early alert to retailers, Fox has set a July bow for the Keanu Reeves-Patrick Swayze cult classic 'Point Break.'

Although the Kathryn Bigelow action caper was not a huge hit during its original 1991 theatrical release, it has since gone on to be one of Fox's biggest catalog sellers on DVD.

GREAT FLICK CANT WAIT !

Yeah, it's good news. I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Here's another thread discussing it although we did go a little off-topic.
