Yeah they are both solid little films and if Scream didn't think they would sell good enough on their own there is a nice common thread between the two films that would justify a double feature.

Just watched The Sentinel, on VHS. I never picked up the DVD.

Here's hoping this year will finally be the year I can take a hammer to it!

I'm using this information in my decision on which Scream titles to buy next. If the titles are not listed I already own them or they are not released yet. I'm ordering Monday. I'm going to pick up three Scream titles.

1) They Live
2) Deadly Blessing
3) The Island
4) The Nest
5) From Beyond
6) Phantasm II
7) The Vampire Lovers
I'd order those movies, from favorite to least favorite.:

1) They Live
2) The Nest
3) Phantasm II
4) From Beyond
5) The Vampire Lovers
6) Deadly Blessing
7) The Island

I watched The Sentinel last night, DVR'd it from Cinemax, was on right before Prince Of Darkness....would definetly pick up a blu of this film...funny Cinemax also was showing Life Force, Phantasm II and Amityville II recently....might this mean something???

No. Just a coincidence.

I'm not sure if it's already been confirmed elsewhere, but People Under the Stairs is definitely coming from Arrow - a clip from it in one of the featurettes on Motel Hell says 'courtesy of Arrow Video'.

When is Comic Con? I want them to announce or deny one or both of the Tales from the Crypt movies (Demon Knight or Bordello of Blood) so I can get the Universal DVD double or know to wait.

I know it isn't horror but it is a solid film with a nice size cult following and has sci-fi elements to it. The last dvd release has an atrocious non-anamorphic transfer and the movie deserves a decent release. And John Barry's score is the most beautiful score ever created for a movie in my opinion.
Somewhere in Time has some creepy elements to it as well. Like when Richard's up in the attic and he sees that he was really in 1912 before. Quite creepy.

If Universal still as Somewhere In Time and would part with it I do think it would be a good Shout title sales wise. I would love to replace my crappy DVD.

They are, but Stairs was one of the titles repeatedly requested here, so I thought region-free folks (time to get with the program, people!) would be interested.

I don't see anything on Amazon other than the older Midnite Movies releases, and I don't see a listing for TIME TRAVELERS (1964?) regarding Shout. Is there a different title for the set?

Thanks much, Cliff. Will either BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE or BEYOND THE TIME BARRIER be the longer, more uncut MGM versions? Oh, I see that Amazon mentions the inclusion of a deleted international scene for BRAIN, so maybe that is the scene with Adele Lamont suggesting topless nudity?

I've preordered both sets. Maybe someday we'll get a horror set with stuff like BLOOD AND LACE (1969) and THE HOUSE THAT SCREAMED? Anyway, really excited about BRAIN, TIME TRAVELERS, and the sci-fi titles.

I've been told that MGM did restore BRAIN. I don't know anything about the other.
It's being sold for $6.95, so there was no money to retransfer the films... And they wouldn't have sold very many copies on their own.
