Update:

I have obtained the disc, I walked in and got my phone number corrected, and asked for the dvd, one of the gamespot employees said it will be shipped with the disc return on june 12..

I informed him of time sensitive content he decided to take a look, the other gamespot employee said yep its in that drawer.. then the other employee said is this it, the other employee said yep, just give it to him.

So now the employee places it on the counter and then makes notion that he intended to charge me for the disc, the other employee looked at him weird and told him no no no.. its free it comes with the preorder.

The noob gamestop employee said oh okay, and told me im sorry for my confusion, he then asks me what is on the disc... I share the tibits...

Btw they had ****loads.. I mean full box.. If I had known this I would have waited till Saturday.

Oh well I have my beta code, and very cool dvd, the dvd has very nice packaging, and features a history timeline trying to explain the events of all the metal gears, going through the history, characters, etc, I believe this is a 30 - 45 minute feature. Very cool.

Also the dvd contains most of all the trailers, some very long ones too..

I do not believe it matters as long as they still have stock I preordered mine in march.

I had preordered mine on amazon. Now I think I'll head down to gamestop and see if they have anymore dvd's. If they do I'll preorder it there and cancel mine from amazon. Yeah... I hope they will have some after work today!

There's a picture on here or the other Metal Gear thread that Shin-Ra posted. It's the Metal Gear Saga Vol.2 disc. Got mine a couple of hours ago. Haven't watched it yet. The code is in the inside of the case on a white peice of paper.

Just got through watching the disc. All I can say is in Chapter 6: Solid Snake-The First Snake. If what they showed at the end is going to be the ending then I'm going to be PISSED!

They had reciept copies on the cases of the people who preordered. So I don't know if you'll get one. Like I posted before. The guy at the place said there's a bunch of people who don't know about it.

It's always good to give it a shot.

I don't think it is I actually believe that it might be the very begining of the game(he is ready to just end it all but has a revelation of sorts to keep going for his friends).

So you've seen it. Did you notice when they did the family tree looking thing. They would bring up Grey Fox and Cyborg Ninja but would never say anything. Is that a hint?
