A regular 3D-showing, including glasses, here in Sweden costs 135 SEK, which, when exchanged, equals $20.
Go Sweden, right?

AMC is CHEAPER than my local Marcus Theatres BUT my AMC is also a 15 minute drive on the highway to get to it, so it's a tossup. I personally prefer my AMC because of the Stubs program AND 9 times out of 10 my local Marcus has a lot of its film framed wrong. I complain and they say there is nothing they can do until the next day whereas my AMC never has that issue.

The concessions are also cheaper.

Anyways the previews just started and there's about 30 people here seeing it in . The 730pm 2D showing is sold out though! The 9pm 3D and 2D showings weren't sold out as far as I could tell from the board.

My theater is not showing the 3D tomorrow until 1:30 or something which makes it $6 and then $2.50 for 3D

but the 2D showing at 11 is only $4.75....

I really don't think I want to pay double the price and have to wait another 2+ hours just for 3D

The one AMC theater I used to go to years ago closed down. And Regal Cinemas is the closet one near me. I mean there's a 1 screen theater a couple towns over, but they get the films that came out awhile ago. Plus I have a card for there to get points. You get free soda, popcorn and movie tickets after so many points earned. I've been going to the same theater since 1997. it was originally called Magic Cinemas, but later got sold and changed to Regal Cinemas. but in 1997 it cost $4 for a matinee.

5/5. Literally perfect. I can't find anything to complain about. The pacing was spot on, the runtime was perfect. The credits bits with the Minions were perfect..

I am so glad this featured more minions. They made this movie so frigging funny. They're in almost every scene, even just in the background causing a laugh riot. Spoiler bit:
[Show spoiler]they sing All 4 Ones "I Swear" at Gru and Lucys wedding and this moment alone had me on the floor laughing my ass off
.

The girls were nicely utilized with Agnes stealing the show. I love her more and more for each scene. There was a nice bit with Gru that was so perfect that made me love his relationship with the girls.

This film can be seen by adults, there is a lot of adult directed humor. It's not so adult that kids won't find it fun y but adults can relate to it too.

The 3D was some of the best I had ever seen personally and really elevated it.

Basically if you love the minions, the characters themselves and aren't bothered by the addition of Lucy (Wiig) to the cast, you're going to love this film.

Best Animated Oscar in the bag I think!

Saw this Tuesday night. A fun and really humorous film. My only nitpick is that the film was a bit light on story. Otherwise, a good time.

Just saw this. I think it was pretty good. I thought there would be a lot more minions in the film, but it didn't really seem like much more than the first one.

The action seemed a bit better and bigger though. I enjoyed Wiig's character.

Overall, I'd say its about on level with the first one.

The animated sequel Despicable Me 2 enjoyed a bumper opening at the UK box office, pulling in a hefty £14,822,427 (including £4.87 million from two days of preview screenings last Saturday and Sunday) to claim the highest debut of the year, overtaking the superhero blockbusters Iron Man 3 (£13.71 million) and Man of Steel (£11.20 million). It's a fantastic return for Universal, with the film already having banked close to three quarters of Despicable Me's £20.2 million total haul back in 2010.

This movie is going to be huge! my 2:20pm showing today was packed! And i mean sitting right next to each other packed.

For some reason it was in one of the smaller theaters. But damn I tell you with all the kids in there made me not even wanna have kids more. The kids were so loud in there. They were either repeating what was on screen or just talking loud freely. You would think parents would teach their kids theater manners of not talking during a movie.

But to the film its self. I really enjoyed it. A 4/5 for me. Minions rule!
