It's BS sending it back to Onkyo, or bringing it to a dealer, they should have clear instructions on updating it, can't be that difficult.

this update isnt even listed on the onk site. the update on the onk site for the 605 doesnt include the issue with the dts ma bitstream bomb. the units for these models including the 605 that are not affected are the ones that were mfg. recently.
