I may take the plunge then. Nervous just a tetch though -- you're the only one I've seen confirm them region free.

I can't find any info. on Wolf Creek at all anywheres except it's Region B, 2, or PAL.

about Wolf Creek -- I really wanted to get at least two confirms and it wasn't on the site at all.

Got an email back this morning confirming (again) that it was region free, and it's been added to the website over there.

Looks like it's time to place an order.

And hopefully this is good news for DotD (if it's not released over here).

Got a copy of Wolf creek from Amazon.uk in the mail today and when I put it into my PS3 (updated firmware) it did not play. It showed the loading icon then went black....

I do not think this is a region free release

I can't remember which title this happened w/ but someone mention that problem w/ an import disc before. The answer that gent received was that if you try to play a region-locked disc on the wrong region PS3, the system will tell you it's region-locked, not go to a black screen.

Pans Lab UK is region free (extras are locked though) and many ppl including myself think it had better pq than the US release (and the US release was v.good). Not sure if I'll pick up diary of the dead as there are a lot of films I want that month, but I wouldnt be surprised if it was a cracking release.

Getting the DVD this week with Netflix. I am a big zombie fan so I will pick it up when its cheap on DVD. I have the entire series of ROTLD 1 - 5, Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead(Old and New), Day of the Dead (Old), Land of the Dead, Fido, 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later.

It wasn't terrible. I didn't like the crawling on the walls and ceiling though... I'll wait to pick it up when it hits the bargin bin.

they had them in the DAY OF THE DEAD remake... horrible... zombies lurch, they don't crawl on walls. almost as bad as the Big Daddy zombie in LotD... they gave a zombie intelligence? Bud from Day was fine... but Big Daddy... uggggggggghh

I know I'll incur wrath here, but Day of the Dead was the only Romero film that has any rewatchability in my house.
