SOOO nervous for tomorrow! Scherzer really pulled himself out of a serious jam yesterday with the bases loaded and no outs! I was freaking out!

That's good. He did a great job last year. You can't go from the best franchise to historically the worst one.

Technically, but the Braves made it known they were going to go after him when he hit free agency and gave the Marlins a spare part for the first crack at signing him before he hit free agency. That was basically the same contract he would have earned on the free agent market.

I wonder where David Price ends up if he gets traded this offseason. He expects to get traded because he's getting too expensive for the Rays. He's got 2 more years of arbitration and will get a raise from the $10 million he made this year and they can't afford to sign him to a long-term deal. The two teams that have the prospects and the money to afford Price would likely be the Cubs and Rangers, both of whom have top 5 farm systems and the money to sign Price to a long-term deal.

Cubs shouldn't. They have good pitching already and no offense.

I suspect he'll look fine in a Yankees' uniform.

Maybe after the 2015 season when he's a free agent, but there's no way the Rays would trade Price to another team in their division, and the Yankees don't have the prospects to get him anyways.
