klipsch quintet: II vs III vs SL

might get them if i get lazy to buy everything separate

i would say my MAX would be $1000 for a 5.1 setup

Is that including the receiver?

If so... Here's Many options either way to consider:

no i have 1000 for speakers alone

I have the Klipsch III's as well and they rock. They're clear and crisp, and provide a big sound for a great price. Check out the Cnet review here:

I strongly suggest you listen to something (anything) non-horn based in your price range..... the horn tweeters may appeal to you, and if so, great, but you should at least have something to compare them to, because they're completely different sounds.
