you have to take in account of how many hours of your time spent on the project. I make $25 an hour at my job so if something i could have just buy and save me more time to watch movie i would. I would only do custom job if i know that it would save me money. For example, it would cost me 15K for my basement, i i finished the whole thing for less then 3k in 2 weeks.

just my 2 cents, somepeople value their free time more than dedication to custom project. Your is ofcourse a hobby

My wife has turned the sub in my 'mini theater' into her own personal table too. Never get to see that nice Aperion cherry finish because there's always books, and leftover yogurt cups, etc. on top.

Luckily in the main theater in the basement I don't have that problem. I have a 12" piano black sub (Aperion) but it's up by the screen. Out of harm's way!

Aprion audio speakers are awsum, best web site and best consumer support, they sound fantastic

Yeah been a die hard for many years now. Nonis needed another year, but oh well. Things happen. I can focus on my BC Lions this coming summer (CFL football team). Are u a Flyers fan?

no.. not a flyers fan. Canucks forever!! Grew up watching them since the Linden became the captain (BTW, my Fav all time nucks)~

I love looking at these pics not for the setup, but I get to peek into people's homes. I enjoy looking at everything in the picture that isn't a focus point (pictures, movies, bottles of Jack Daniels, etc).

And I've never wanted a TV over 60" in my life. Wow. Makes my 42" look like crap.

Man you should have seen how my room use to look like b4 the walls were painted. There use to be no bookshelf there in that corner. It use to be the Canucks corner. I had like McLean, Bure and Linden pictures, pictures, plaques and posters. It was so crazy. I even had a Messier picture up there, but it's in the shredder now.

can you move your floorstanders out more? maybe move the piers in against the tv stand, then put the floorstanders on each side of that? would sound better. just my opinion.

His Right-Front would be blocked by that couch.... not sure how much room he has, but it looks to be a smaller room....
