yes venom is dead but you're forgeting one thing tell me what it is, the "Symbiote storyline" can still go on... you can't have Venom without Carnage simply put...

Cuthbert as MJ gets me in the seat immediately. There is still a lot that could be done with this franchise for many more movies.

I don't really think they could make Carnage as truly disturbing as he is and kill the way he does in a PG-13 movie so it would lack.

I'm sure theres a way to show him killing but like only focus on his face & the emotions it shows rather than the blood, guts etc usually added into the comics i'm guessing, just a small way to get around the graphic violence he usually shows but still show it with enough killer intent you get what he intends to do

Yeah you're right, it could just be implied I guess that he's gruesome without showing it. If I remember correctly, and it's been a while, Carnage was formed from a drop of Peter's blood mixed with the symbiote right?

BAH, don't have a clue, looks like time to hit wikipedia & refresh lol

But the symbiote storyline is a very good one to adapt from IMO, very story driven & CAN span more than one movie & be entertaining if done properly

Others like a lizard. rhino etc story seem to be one off movie deals with maybe further cameo appearances

Carnage is the result of a spawning of a separate extraterrestrial symbiote by Venom. This symbiote bonded with serial killer Cletus Kasady, creating one of Spider-Man's most murderous adversaries. Kasady's bond with the symbiote is far more profound than that of Venom's; they have bonded so completely, they refer to themselves as "I" instead of "We".

like Venom took over Brock...

Sure you can. You just don't introduce Cletus Kasady in the films. The symbiote was part of the revenge, redemption, and forgiveness themes in SM3. There's no reason to bring it back.

I think they have an opening if they wanted to bring the symbiote back. Doesn't Dr. Conners have a piece of it in his possession? It could grow into a full new symbiote.

But that brings up my other point. We've seen Dr. Curt Conners (or at least he was mentioned in the 1st movie) in all the movies, but still no Lizard. I like the idea somebody proposed once that Doc Connors becomes the Lizard and while Spidey is trying to stop/help/cure him, he also has to contend with Kraven who has been hired to bring in the Lizard.

THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT VILLIAN BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A VILLAN THAT WOULD REQUIRE SOME GOOD SPECIAL EFFECTS LIKE MYSTERIO OR MAYBE EVEN HOBGOBLIN BUT WHATEVER THEY DO, DON'T GIVE HIM A RETARDED COSTUME LIKE THE "NEW" GREEN GOBLIN. THAT REALLY MESSED UP SPIDERMAN 3. I AM AN AVID SPIDERMAN FAN AND I REALLY BELIEVE THEY SCREWED UP THE FRANCHISE WITH #3. THEY TRIED TO PUT TOO MUCH INTO ONE MOVIE. THE VENOM STORYLINE SHOULD'VE BEEN DONE ALL BY ITSELF. INSTEAD THEY ADDED ALL THESE OTHER STORYLINES WHICH REALLY TOOK AWAY FROM ONE THE BEST AND MORE FAVORABLE STORYLINES WRITTEN. TRUTHFULLY SPEAKING, THERE ARE REALLY ALOT OF INTERERSTING AND COLORFUL CHARACTERS THAT CAN BE MADE INTO ONE HELL OF A SPIDERMAN FLICK. HOW ABOUT KRAVEN THE HUNTER, PUMA, AND A LIL BIT OF THE BLACKCAT? EXCELSIOR TRUE BELIEVERS!!!!

I think they should go back to one villain only. Put some kind of twist into the story. Make it hard for Parker to figure out what is going on. Don't make it a by the numbers story.

Actually, the symbiote was necessary to create Carnage wasn't it? I think a good Spider-man 4 could be Spider-man and Venom having to team up to fight Carnage. I don't think Venom died at the end of 3 like a lot of people say, and I also don't think an R rating would be necessary. Lots of graphic violence can be found in PG-13 movies recently.

IMO, if your going to make the storyline around Canage, then do it without downplaying the charecter. Make it an R-rating and keep the storyline true to the original sence, which would be the comic stories. I believe many people liked the Venom storyline as I did in Spidey-3. But like someone else has already said, the charecter profile of the 'New' Green Goblin took away from what could've been another awesome Spidey movie. Which ever charecters are storied into the next flim, I only ask that they are kept to their original developement. Were all adults and most kids see and hear worse on their video games.

Forget the Rhino he sucks. Electro,Shocker, Mysterio or perhaps Vulture. The Phantom would be cool as well. Lizard works because we already see Doc Conners.

but then that just means more movies and besides theres to many villians to do that because it would end up being like 10 movies or more at this rate

By that logic, they should just have 10 villains in the next one so they don't have to make any more.

They should focus on story and not what (or how many) villain they can put in it. Let the story dictate. I think that's how they did 1 and 2, and they got away from that a bit in 3.
