Last I heard quite a substantial number of titles already released on HD DVD will be remasterd before they are released for Blu-ray.

I think that is the best news, as a lot of Uni's problems with PQ came from poor/old masters.

One thing I am wondering about though is whether GE will just come out and say they are going to buy DTS when they acquire DreamWorks SKG. It's obviously in the works, and it would make Mr Speilberg a very happy man.

As for compelling reasons to buy the same titles, I think some high profile ones are being considered for director's cut and other extras that had to be skipped on HD DVD due to space limitations. Longtime readers should get which title I am referring to...
