No thanks to Garzo and Jimenez. Arroyo on the other hand, I would definitely take him (I hope the Yankees really go after him hard).

Plus, he's not going to be the next Darvish (if you can compare the two).
I don't need Yu. I'd settle for another Hiroki. I'm far more pessimistic w/ regards to CC than most Yankee fans. He looks like he is declining and his velocity has dropped. It doesn't look good. I hope I'm wrong, but eventually those innings will catch up to you.

Why? I've always thought Arroyo was good but he's getting old. Jimenez is young enough to do a 180 and be just as good as he want a couple years ago.

The Yanks should have pressed hard for Kazmir. He was by far the best pitcher without a contract.

If CC gets enough run support, he'll be able to pitch 6 innings. That's all I need is a few good innings from him. Although he's another example of an underwhelming blockbuster signing.

If you guys land Infante you'll be fine hes a good player very good above average 2nd baseman, and in Yankee stadium like everyone else im sure hell hit a good extra 10 bombs than he did this year. And the best side you'll only be saddled with 31 million instead of 240!

I am sure the Yankees have a good 2nd baseman they can bring up in a few years to fill the spot. This is the only time you will ever hear me say this Way to go Yankees you did a hellva job letting Cano walk.
You can say whatever you want about my mother but If you call me a Yankee fan or even compare me to one I will have to hurt you.

Jimenez will get murdered in the AL east. With Arroyo, I will easily take him for at least two years with a option for a 3rd.

Could have apparently had Fister for noone to lol no idea why the Tigers let him go for what they got.

They could get Jimenez for twice as cheap and he had better stats last year. I'd be happy giving one year to Bronson. But that's it.

Hell, they had to face repercussions when the Chrone Figgins, Richie Sexson and Carlos Silva contracts turned bad. Signing Cano makes no sense because they're not one bat away from the postseason, they're like 3-4. His numbers will decline even if he's still in his prime because there's no one in the lineup around him.

The Mariners are the most poorly run team in baseball when you take into consideration how many resources they have at their disposal. Howard Lincoln and Chuck Armstrong were the joke of the league and everyone but them knew it.

Unlike Beltre and CLifee Lee, Cano maybe doomed to fade away in Seattle because of that unmovable new contract.

Jesus Christ, people.... Nationals gave Nate McLouth a 2-year, $10.75 million deal. I repeat, the Nationals gave a 4th outfielder $5+ million per year.

Yankees just signed Carlos Beltran for 3yrs 45 million according to bleacher report. This pretty much seals Gardner's fate as being trade bait.

Jimenez would be a waste of money. He'd get murdered in the AL east.

Gardner is my favorite player of on the Yankees right now. He gives 110% every game. He's mch better than Beltran and just as good as Jacoby IMHO.

Beltran has more power than Gardner and he's a switch hitter whereas Gardner is a lefty hitter.

I'd be inclined to keep Gardner as insurance for an injury to the OF. This must mean either Gardy is benched or Sori/Beltran will be the DH. Signing Infante would be a good decision. Then look to the rotation. If we could a good arm in a trade, it might make sense to trade Gardy. It would depend on who they would be getting. It would never happen, but I would see if we could get Price from TB.

I don't see why the Yanks don't put Soriano back at second. From the report that I read Beltran will be in right field and DHing, Ellsbury in center, Gardner in left. So the question remains what they'll end up doing with Ichiro.

Because he's no longer the same player he was when he played 2B for the Yankees.

Did the Mets not learn from the Jason Bay signing? I'm not sold on the Granderson deal. For one, Citi field isn't homer friendly and is one of the last places you want to go to rekindle your offensive touch. In 2012 despite hitting 43 homeruns he only had a pedestrian .811 OPS.

But with Granderson's speed, he'll get a lot of triples.
