MrBlonde, I know what you mean about them just focusing on the negatives but the Oscars don't really shine on the positive. The Oscars are Hollywood promoting themselves. If this was any other situation, we would be laughing at them - "Iphone - Phone of the Year Awards - Presented by Apple". They are not looking at the industry as a whole and saying "this was the best film made in the past year", they are looking at the ones that people submit and god only knows what goes on behind the scenes. How many times have you watched it and someone won an award that left you scratching your head, or someone isn't even nominated? I'll give them credit, they do get some attention over to films that wouldn't normally get it but in the end they are the industry promoting themselves and far from unbiased. At least with the Razzies, you know what to expect.
