NBC has halted production on Sean Saves the World. The show wasn't scheduled to air again until after the Olympics and there are 2 episodes that have been filmed but not aired. It's unknown if those 2 episodes will air, but in essence NBC just cancelled the show, although it won't be official until the upfronts in May.

You left something out. NBC just didn't halt the production of Sean Saves the World. They abruptly halted it:
http://tvline.com/2014/01/28/sean-sa...oduction-stop/ This is why I don't watch NBC produced TV shows anymore. They should not be involved in producing anything for television because they don't know how to leave their shows alone or how to market them. |

Intelligence is looking iffy but I think The Tomorrow People is a toss-up. It all depends on what the CW wants to do with the show. I think The CW produces that show, at any rate, it's been on the bubble list for the past few months as nobody is sure what will happen with that series.

One of the guarantees Michael J. Fox got from NBC was that 22 episodes would be produced and each episode would be aired. This was the result of a bidding war between NBC, CBS, and ABC and gave Michael J. Fox a lot of leverage.

I would expect Brookyn Nine-Nine to be renewed for sure. It's ratings have improved and Fox wouldn't have given it a post-Super Bowl slot if they didn't believe in it, and the Golden Globe wins help. Almost Human's ratings have improved and it helps that it looks like Rake is looking like a flop, but Fox still hasn't ordered any additional episodes so it appears the show's season will end after it's initial 13-episode order, which isn't a good sign. This isn't a situation like Sleepy Hollow where they only wanted a 13-episode season, if the show was a hit they fully intended on ordered more episodes. Dracula is hard to judge. It's ratings are bad, but almost everything on NBC gets bad ratings, and Dracula is cheap because NBC is just buying the episodes from the UK-producer. It's low cost gives it a chance. Intelligence seemed like it was done for sure when it's first regular time slot episode got a 1.1 rating, but then it improved to a 1.5 this week. If it can improve a little more it may have a chance because it's a tough time slot that CBS has struggled in. Still, it's not looking promising right now. |

Bones has been renewed for a 10th season by Fox, and will be moving back to it's Monday time slot on March 10. Fox president Kevin Reilly said at press tour that if Bones is renewed (which it now has been) that the 10th season will likely be the show's final season.

Networks waste no time. It's amazing any show lasts, nowadays, on network tv. With so much content out there, and so many viewing options, I'm thinking about waiting on all new network shows until the 2nd season is announced. I think it's better than watching as S1 airs, and then having it cut off, or written off.

Seems like most shows aren't worth watching anymore. Because all new shows are either canned halfway or after one season.
Kinda glad I don't have TV anymore. Just think of all that wasted money spent on eps that never get aired. |
