Honestly, the offerings have been pretty shallow since we won the war. A good title here and there, but nothing that appeals to the masses since Ice Age, or any of the Disney Pixar films.

I don't even see Transformers on the schedule for this year. They would be IDIOTS not to have the blu-ray version out for Christmas. It sold like crazy for HD DVD during the war.

Michael Bay, what are you doing, dude? Don't get all "George Lucas" on us and make us wait.

Ya I guess the Mummy Movies will not appeal to the masses at all. or any of the other titles comming out this summer. Then there is that Batman Begins Blu Ray you are right that wont sell at all

Oh my, such cutting sarcasm. The Mummy movies are great, and those will sell, so will Batman. But honestly, they keep releasing all the 2nd and 3rd rate movies. Gili should NEVER see the soft blue light of blu-ray.

But hey. They have to make their money too.

The reason blu is slow is because of price I refuse to pay 33 bucks plus tax for a new release blu. Here in canada they are selling disc's for stupid prices and these prices are doing two things. 1 thay are making me buy less. 2 they are scaring away new customers . My walmart just cleaned out the hddvds took over half the blurays with them I asked where did the blues go he said no one was buying them so we sent a bunch back. Who the hell is going to pay 33 bucks plus tax for the queen ? nobody

Of course the title releases for Blu-ray the last couple of months have been pretty thin. That's just how it goes this time of year. It's all the more reason to laugh at the FUD articles constantly coming out about "poor Blu-ray disc sales."

They need to try checking back on Blu-ray sales levels near the end of the year when a larger, better variety of BD titles is resting on store shelves.
