I loved this week's episode. Drunk Sheldon is always funny, and I'm so glad that he woke up next to an open geology book instead of a naked Amy. His reaction as he removed his arm, trying not to wake the book, was hilarious. I really like Emily, and I'm so glad that the reason she knew Howard wasn't because of some weird perverted thing he did before he met Bernadette. And I don't know what you guys are talking about with Kripke. I still love seeing him appear. Mind you I'd rather see more of Stewart, but I'm not going to complain when they give us Kripke instead.

Each episode gets less and less funny.
I'm done with the show at the end of this Season unless something major happens.
I want Penny and Leonard to break up. They don't kiss anymore, they barely talk about even "being together." What chemistry there was onscreen is now gone since she got married.

Sheldon went from being socially awkward to being nothing but an ******* to everyone he comes into contact with.

As much as I love Bernadette, Amy and Penny, their characters really killed the momentum of the show.

I keep watching it the hopes that it will return to what it once was.

Maybe Penny will get hired for a "big" movie or show and will go with encouragement from Leonard and will then in the Season 8 Premiere' be written out off screen, like her stuff will be seen to be moved out by movers....

It hasn't been a good show since season 3. I find myself still watching because I want to see it through till the end. Just don't know if I can stomach it much longer. This show has turned into my new Smallville. I initially enjoyed it, then became really annoyed with it, but couldn't stop watching it (although I did like some of the stuff they did towards the end of the show).

As an overall trend, the seasons have got a bit weaker as they've gone on, but these last two episodes were brilliant IMO! Amy/Sheldon at the dinner table and Sheldon with the geology book were truly wonderful scenes - some of the best this season.

I kind of get what you're saying Kaine. I still enjoy the show, but my wife and I have noticed how bitter they've made Penny's character. While it is a realistic approach, this is suppose to be a sitcom. So that's my thoughts on what is wrong with the character and I don't think that has anything to do with her being married now. All your other points I'm not inline with though. I kind of like that the girls kind of have their own group. Sometimes their shenanigans are funnier than the guys.

Then you may want to tune out for good, as a majority of fans are likely shipping Leonard and Penny and some of the cast/crew have expressed an interest in the two of them marrying. As for me, personally, I don't see those two ever breaking up again.

I agree about the last two episodes - I literally laughed out loud more at the whole XBOX One/PS4 episode than I have any TV show I can recall in many years. It was just pitch perfect.

I think it's been a strong season, for my tastes. The show is consistently funny, and although the overall "plot" (relationships, etc.) may not be shifting much, I actually think that's a good thing - when they do too much make-up/break-up stuff, it turns it into a soap opera. Some continuing elements like that are nice, but it certainly isn't something that needs to be so heavy handed in a sitcom.

The relationship just doesn't feel real or natural anymore.

Ever since she got married in real life, the relationship in the show has suffered. though while it's understandable, at least do something to make it more fun and not feel just tacked on.

Yeah, I'm not getting that impression. She's been acting long enough to be able separate her private from her professional life I'd think. So not sure where you are coming from on that one?
