Why! many people not change to Blu-ray Disc player ?

There are still tons of people who don't even know what blu ray is. At my local Blockbuster when you rent a blu ray movie they still ask every single time "Do you have blu ray player?" because people rent them and can't figure out why they won't play in their dvd player and take it out on the poor Blockbuster guys. They even have a blu-ray display and they sell PS3s in the store, but people are oblivious.

I also notice that the Circuit City and Best Buy ads in my Sunday paper talk up high definition but not blu ray players; occasionally they mention the PS3 but I think that confuses people (I know, it is an ENTERTAINMENT system, NOT a GAMING system )
