It's a detective show. How much more generic can you get? A spunky teenage girl character who can play with the big boys? Err... Buffy? And the first season's arc... ever see Twin Peaks? As for ridiculous, it is. I don't want to post any spoilers but many of the plots are completely unbelievable - especially given the age of the characters and the seriousness of the crimes. Season Two I'm looking at you. Again, that's not to say I didn't enjoy it. And I will be purchasing the blu ray on release day. But let's not pretend that it was something more than it was. |
