As for ridiculous, it is. I don't want to post any spoilers but many of the plots are completely unbelievable - especially given the age of the characters and the seriousness of the crimes. Season Two I'm looking at you.

Again, that's not to say I didn't enjoy it. And I will be purchasing the blu ray on release day. But let's not pretend that it was something more than it was.

We'll have to agree to disagree. Your arguments are a stretch to say the least. You could say that any show with a strong young female lead is like Buffy if you wanted to. It's not like any other detective show out there and it subverts a lot of old tropes. The first season is nothing like Twin Peaks so I don't know what you were watching!
