Wishing for Dark Angel on Blu-ray - Blu-ray Forum

Not only would it be sweet to have season 1 on Blu-ray, but also having it in widescreen as well; and I know it is possible since the Brits already have it in widescreen on their PAL DVDs, while us Yankees must continue watching it on 4:3 full screen crap.

No1 has replied to this? This show is AMAZING! I'm so pissed it got canceled! I own both seasons on DVD & would LOVE to have them on Blu-ray!

This would definitely be a day one buy for me. I loved the series. And yes, I too was angry when it got canceled.

I own both season on DVD, I doubt I would upgrade however. How hard would it be to upgrade this? The Special effects again I suppose would cause a problem?

This is why I'm holding out on getting season 2 on DVD, won't wait much longer though.

I got the DVD sets years ago for $14 each, maybe 5 or 6 years ago. They must be giving them away now

I got mine for the same price! lol But it was like 4 years ago, so glad I got them in their original box sets before they came out with the slim sets!

Would certainly be a first day. Doesn't surprise me though that it was cancelled, it was aired on Fox. They cancel so many shows.

Oh well, no blu-rays anytime soon but we can have the widescreen versions on DVD from Amazon UK if you have a DVD player and TV that supports PAL.

Yeah the widescreen pal region DVDs are awesome. And I'd definitely rebuy it on blu ray. that was the show I first noticed Jensen Ackles too. What a character.

I do like how they did those novels to tie stuff up.

Yeah, I felt so ripped off after I bought the NTSC discs and then found the PAL versions. Give us Dark Angel widescreen in North America!

Does anyone have pictures of the original packaging?

Are there any goofs in the widescreen versions?

Would love this and also I always get a giggle out of the Hitman movie using footage from the show in the film.

This is playing on The El Ray Network now, I just asked on the networks Facebook page if they're airing it in HD or upconverted widescreen. lol Hopefully they answer.

I have the UK wide screen DVDs but I'd gladly rebut it in HD.
