I live in Burbank, a couple of miles from Universal. The sky is filled with thick black smoke. On the news, I heard there was a few explosions. Didn't hear them myself. Was playing GTA at the time and the audio was kind of loud.

SFX gone terribly wrong... i hope no one was hurt. i fear we have lost a few films though...

I figured this place would be covering the news. I hope they don't lose any irreplacable films. Maybe I could hope it's just a HD DVD firesale that got out of hand.

I'm glad the war is over so that nothing really stupid was said. I too hope that everyone is alright. Yes, more than the movies.

I can see it from my house... I'm about 6 miles away.

It's burning big time, as of now.

They're saying Universal Studios Park will be open today (I found that interesting).

I hope no one has been hurt and no one gets hurt with that huge fire.

I also hope the film vault isn't compromised or burned down, either.

It is a production lot........where they have a soundstage to film on. Not a storage facility.............geeez!
