Default Stanley Kubrick collection coming to Blu-ray

I read at ign that the Stanley Kubrick movie collection will be coming to Blu-Ray and also HD-DUD. The collection will include the following movies: 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, Full Metal Jacket and Eyes Wide Shut. I personnely want the Shining the most! I can't wait for this to drop on Blu-Ray. The info was found inside of the Ultimate Matrix HD-DUD release today.

This is nothing new. There are a number of posts about this, however they were most probably posted before you were active here, so you would have missed them.

The rest of you before you come up with advice on the search function, remember you were new here once as well. I'm still trying to work out all the 'features' here, yes I know I'm a slow learner, more like a computer actually you have to punch the information in and yes I do know how to merge threads, but I will leave this one alone (newbie privileges).

Let's just hope that they remaster FMJ like Sony is for Fifth Element.

I hope we don't see a grain-free VC-1 transfer on Eyes Wide Shut.

Warner revealed this a few months ago on one of their chats. I hope FMJ gets redone (though, it doesn't look bad as it is).

Those better be available separately, since I already have FMJ on my shelf and won't be needing a second copy (barring remastering, of course).

2001 in Blu-ray will be incredible. I think it's the greatest film ever made. It seems like if they are going to call this the Kubrick collection it should include all of his films. Dr. Strangelove and Barry Lyndon belong in this set. Barry Lyndon would look stunning in 1080P.

That's the movie I want most. Once it comes out I can pick another.

LMAO. Eyes Wide Shut has that issue too I believe.

FYI, Dr Strangelove is Sony's movie.
