Have we got on a hot streak yet.....

This team is no better than last years squad and is not capable to get on 10 game winning streak. It can't even win 5 games in a row (the most they have won in a row is 4). Wave the pom poms all you want, but this team stinks. They better count their blessings that the AL east is trash because if we were in any other division, we'd be more than 5 games out.

Yet it's ok to say Bal hasn't been on a hot streak so they are due, but the same is not possible for us. There is no way that this team is worse than last years. Sorry you are wrong period. There is 10x the amount of talent on this team than last year.

You can't just extrapolate data like that . You have no idea how we would perform in a different division.

I'm not waving any pom-poms, but I'm certainly not *****ing about being 3.5 GB

If we were 10-15 GB, ok I could understand the frustration. I understand the Yankees are the Yankees, and we are expected to win the division every year, but c'mon we are 3.5 GB in July. Complaining at this point is a bit ridiculous. Smacks of being spoiled.

Yeah, we're definitely due for a hot streak when we barely scrap up 2 runs. Yup, AL east champs for sure.

Because I've been a Yankee fan for a very long time (early 80's). Any regardless how many games we're out by, doesn't cover the fact that the team is trash.

I pay attention to them, sure. Typically I watch the Jays, but the Yankees are the team I worry most about in East. They're the Yankees, you just know they are going to get on a run at some point.

What do you expect with the likes Vidal Nuno pitching? I am baffled why Girardi continues to throw him out there after every 5 games. Warren should be starting. We need an arm far more than we need a bat.

Plus, don't let their record fool you. The Rays have been an outstanding team for the past 6 years.

Additionally, we have not fared well against them in the past 6 years no matter how good or how bad we/they are.

And they are not the worst team in baseball...
