I can't wait, the first movie was one of the worst films I saw in theaters and not even it's r-rated cut could help as it was watered down and a poor adaptation of the comics.

The HBO toon was far better and this movie should be just like that show.

It should be Hellraiser meets Nolan's Batman and The Crow and Wicked City combined plus r-rating and all that.

this article is from 2013! ha not really new news.. Mcfarlane has been talking about this one for a while, I honestly don't think we will ever get a Spawn at this point.. The movie would have to be rated R and the budget would have to be over 100 Million for it to work.. Deadpool can work for Fox with a small budget making it rated R because you don't need that much CG in it, but Spawn needs CG

Well, the small budget might have forced Fox to remove Deadpool's teleportation device. So even a character like Deadpool is limited with a small budget.
