What do you think the odds are of this box set including the film as well as the series??
I know the film was previously released by Fox, but unfortunately for those of us overseas it's region locked!!
Though since this set is WB (which presumably means it will be region free) I guess the odds of it being included are pretty slim…

Was Fox a part of the massive negotiations to get this set finally to market? If so they probably threw it in. If not, then it probably won't be in there. That's my guess.

At most I could see an empty slot for the movie for those that would want to transfer it from the case to the set.

I met Yvonne Craig (Batgirl) at a convention last year.

This makes me realize that we are quite lucky that BATMAN's principle actors are still with us and still healthy. I'm always tinged by a little sadness when I watch some of other shows of that era and realize that most of the stars are gone. Think of a show like BEWITCHED where every main actor is long gone; only a few guest stars remain. Same with GILLIGAN'S ISLAND, THE MUNSTERS, MY FAVORITE MARTIAN and so on.

I think I'll get extra enjoyment knowing that Adam, Burt, Jule and Yvonne are here to enjoy the acclaim of their fans.

Not everybody who may buy this is a "Batman fan", i watched it as a kid in the late 70s/early 80s, it wasn't one of my favourites but i liked it. Never read a Batman or any other superhero comic (or whatever they're called) and to be honest the only movies i really liked were the one with Jack Nicholson (which i thought was excellent) and the one with Danny de Vito as The Penguin (which was decent). Can't say i thought Michael Keaton was a great Batman, he was ok but outshone by Nicholson by quite some distance. The Dark Knight, which i know is widely rated as one of the greatest movies ever made, bored me silly. Probably didn't help that i couldn't make out much of the dialogue it was that whispery, so i'd turn up the volume, then when they start shooting or whatever it nearly shook my house down. I may need a better setup, but i own hundreds of blu rays and that's the only one i've ever watched where i was reaching for the remote every 10 seconds cos i couldn't hear a thing they were saying. It was no doubt done on purpose to make you "feel you are there" or some artsy reason, but i'm old-fashioned i guess. I'd rather hear what they're saying.

Never seen Batman Begins or The Dark Knight Rises, i own them both but never got round to watching them. I don't really like action movies so much, when movies get into an action scene where nobody talks for ages i just glaze over lose interest and start thinking about something else.

I own most of the Twilight Zone blu rays, just missing the movie and season 5, and i've only just got to watching the start of season 2 after owning them about 3 years. For me, if i bought Batman it would take a similar amount of time to watch them.

True, but it's not an identical release. The US blu has the original mono mix and an isolated soundtrack.
