Remember though these are free and usually are coming back from the movie theaters where they were used ... Used is the key word.

Thanks for the shout out but I was unable to get GoTG one-sheets or the teaser in stock, that was the case for the majority of poster dealers out there. It doesn't surprise me that DMR is still not understanding the importance of proper packaging and posters are arriving damaged, they just cause more grief for themselves and costs in having to then pay someone to package up another to ship out as a replacement, only causing frustration amongst their customers.

In case any of you, like me, missed it the first time DMR has the Guardians of the Galaxy up again. You get double points for the new Muppet movie I think all week. 300 rather than 150.

Ugh... that sucks... I entered mine last week when I was able to pick my copy up prior to release date. Live and learn I guess.

Disney is probably the most protective of their posters and marketing material, which is why you don't see dealers generally getting in Disney titles from The Avengers final style from a few years ago to current/upcoming releases. Most of the stuff on eBay is either stuff taken from theaters or knock-offs, it just means Disney originals will be more sought after which will drive prices up. If you can get an original Disney poster for GoTG for under $40, you are doing quite well. Best yet, if you get it in near-mint/mint through DMR for some points, then you are really doing well.

If anyone is interested DMR has lowered the "price" of the Bambi theatrical poster from 1500 to 750 points. It's only 13" x 19" though.

Vlad Rodriguez mentioned he is going to be offering some artist-proof prints for his "The Fifth Element" print that he did that had sold out. Not sure when he is going to offer them via his site, but he said soon.

Also he has started on a print for John Carpenter's "The Thing". I had mentioned to him a short while ago to do one and he loved the idea so he is working on it now. For me, that will be one to get most defiantly.

Got my replacement Guardians from Disney Movie Rewards. Still damaged, though this time it looks like it was damaged during packing. They just shoved the stupid packing slip in the tube after the poster was put in, which smashed up one corner of the poster. But it's better than the first one they sent so 'oh well.'

Man, Rodriguez has a great style of poster. The Terminator one looks really nice. It's too bad they're not full size 27" x 40". Can't wait to see the Thing poster. I might pick that one up regardless of the size.

Had Randy Ortiz's Evil Dead II variant in my cart last week but forgot Mondo doesn't save the CC info on account and didn't have my card handy and lost it. Thought it would look real good next to his Army of Darkness print and then hope he does an Evil Dead to match.

And damn near impossible. Honestly, I like the random lottery some of the artists offer after the Mondo prints sell. I think it's more fair in general, and everyone gets a genuine shot.
