I don't know about you guys, but I first played/beat it on Solid Snake difficulty and now I'm going to work my way up each time, but not jump straight to Big Boss Extreme.

I love the fact that you can jump through cut scenes, which make it just THAT much more enjoyable with multiple replays. Don't get me wrong, I love the cut scenes, but once is enough.

[Show spoiler]Also, is anyway else trying to win the Big Boss Award so you can get unlimited ammo, by not killing anyone in the game? Though you can kill the gekkos and such because they are unmanned. Right now I"m trying to do that with the Big Boss (Hard, not extra hard) difficulty so I can play Big Boss Extreme (Very Hard) difficulity with unlimited ammo.

Also, I know for a fact that I'm not the only one that got choked up when Snake put the gun in his mouth and you heard him pull the trigger!!!

lol its not Snake, its the guy that does the voice for him. Replay them and try to catch the interview from the beginning as she mentions shes talking with David Hayden (sp?).

I finished last night. I have to say it is easily the best in the series. The story is spectacular. The graphics seem to get better throughout.

Kojima should really get a best boss battle achievement award. He consistently makes the best and most engaging boss battles. A lot of games don't have a single memorable one. Kojima has made 4 games with some of the best boss fights in history.

Ok I've completed the game and to be totally honest I didnt really use half of what I was given. Mk II...nah...75% of the items I had, nah.......I used about 6 of the guns for the whole game....Those little rolly bally attacky things did my head in!

Great game though! lol

[Show spoiler]there avalable after your first playthrough so you get 20% off, there both 400000 I'm waiting to get to outer haven again so i get it half off, I would advise the stealth though you'll probably get more use out of it than the bandana

there both the same, I think there in the ect. part of drebins shop

Has anyone mentioned how great the rumble in this game is? It's so well matched with so much that happens, it was no surprise to see that about 6 people worked on it in the end credits.

Doesn't using special (cheat) items prevent you from gaining badges or anything?

have you played the Boss Extreme, I'm playing though it on Big Boss hard first just to unlock it so I can do Boss extreme, lol

EDIT: no, it just shows up in the stats as a "SPECAIL ITEM USED"

Sometimes you need a little break to concentrate on a very special game.

Any knock-on effect at all to using special items? Just the endgame stat screen showing their use?

I did the same with GTA4, and MGS4 (I didn't come back here till I completed it )though I was being liquid
