Hello,

Every pay period I allow myself 3 blurays as a treat for all my hard work

Anywhoo...this week I chose The Eye, Jumper, and There Will Be Blood.

At my local Wal Mart the prices were: $24.96, $29.96, and $29.96 respectfully. Total of $84.88

At Walmart.com the prices were: $22.86, $25.86 and $28.86 respectfully. Total of $77.59

At Amazon.com the prices were: $22.95, $25.95, and $27.95 respectfully.
Total of $76.85

At Buy.com the prices were: $20.66, $22.28, and $27.94. Total of $70.88.

All have free shipping if you're willing to wait.

Just thought it was interesting to watch who has had the best prices over the past few months. I've found over the past few weeks, they are falling a bit short of the Jonses. Anyone found a site where they are cheaper?

I have a great place here in Syracuse where I can get New BD all for under 20bucks . Got Jumper (SPecial Edition with the digital download copy) for 19.99!! That was the most expensive movie they had . The used one's run around 9-12bucks ! Just poppin in on my deal

Sound Garden!

Not sure last time you went, but their BD selection is growing by the week. They have quite a few new BDs for $14.99 now.

i've noticed tower.com has pretty decent priced blu's lately and free shipping when you order is $25

I love deals but I hate waiting for them to ship and then slow shipping with free shipping. Amazon Prime is what I usually do.

never knew about buy.com. some blu's are actually cheaper and a few a bit higher then amazon. thanks so buy.com is okay to buy from with no problems whatsoever?

I just bought from buy.com for the first time today. I saw on another post that their "free super saver" shipping can be way slow. I'll have to wait and find out. Says my BDs will be here in 7-9 buisiness days. We'll see.

sweet, keep me posted on those shipping times. did they ship those the next business day they got your order? i know with amazon, they tend to ship a few days after your oder, if you choose the super saver shipping (free one).

Yeah. Sorry for the mixup, but Sound Garden is just a local store. They do have a website (www.cdjoint.com), but I think as of right now, they only sell MP3's online.

There's a 2nd store in Baltimore, if anyone lives there, though I'm not sure if the pricing is as low.

Hi there,

Just wanted to give you an update on my Buy.com experience..... I ordered three movies on the 18th of June. Buy.com apparently does not ship the movies all together like Amazon.com does. And, they come in a bubble wrapped envelope instead of a cardboard box filled with bubble wrap (extra protection the amazon way). I elected to use the "Free Shipping" for my delivery. One of the movies (There Will Be Blood) shipped on the 18th and arrived today (the 23rd) for a total of 3 buisiness days. The other two shipped on the 19th from the Buy.com Marketplace. We'll see how long it takes for them to arrive. I'll let you know when they do. A good experience overall so far.

i've never had a problem with buy.com. they're really good. i used them before to save 10 dollars on google checkout.
