finaly got this yesterday,first mgs i have played since mgs1 on ps1 which i liked.

bought mgs 3 2 weeks ago and just did not like it(think its the fixed camera) this is one nice looking game but i just want shoot folk, its very cut scene heavy so far but must say im quite enjoying watching them so far, one gripe i have is that it doesn't auto save at checkpoints as i turned it of during the first act i think it was the third part and had to start again

what kind of game doesn't auto save these days

MGS3: Subsistence uses the same camera as MGS4. If you get a chance sell your regular copy and try and find that version. Makes it a much better game.

If I´m unconscious, the screen tells me to rotate the analog stick.

but which direction is correct ?

Clockwise/Counterclockwise/reciprocating motion.

It seems like Clockwise is working, but is it correct

Its Left to Right, not rotating.

there was swimming if you went to the right place, i remember swimming in act 2.

For those who have the official guide of the games, is it worth it? I've not finished the game yet, and I intend to do it without looking the spoiler tag... but I was wondering if someone can find every little thing by itself or is the guide is a must to have?

I don't remember swimming as much as crossing a small stream by walking across it.

Well until a Mod removes it from the title, I'll still be using them.

you could walk in it, or you could dive under and swim. it was deep enough to be fully submerged.
